Campbell, of Lexington, KY, and her own Rocky W, an 18-year-old bay Dutch Warmblood gelding (Libero H x Corofino), were selected as Best Presented after impressing the ground jury during the FEI Horse Inspection at TIEC.
Prepared for the horse inspection by Campbell herself, Rocky W was impeccably turned out and went on to collect a top-12 finish in the $35,000 FEI 1.50m Suncast® Welcome during CSI 3* competition. For the honor, Campbell was presented with a commemorative plaque, as well as a pair of reins from Equis Boutique partner brand, Dy’on.
Campbell and Rocky W have been a team for nine years, and her goals for the seasoned mount only consist of keeping him happy and healthy.
“He has a huge heart and always tries his hardest,” said Campbell. “I only show a couple FEI shows a year, so I try to make them count!”
For Campbell, Equis Boutique’s efforts to bring an extra amount of prestige to the FEI Horse Inspection at horse shows across the country is a welcomed concept.
“This is a great award,” she said. “The jog in other disciplines like dressage and eventing is such a prestigious event, and Equis is encouraging that same environment in show jumping.”
Equis Boutique will offer the Best Presented Horse Award at TIEC during the summer season at TIEC, highlighted by another CSI 3* and two CSI 4* weeks running through July 24.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
